The Ferrari Daytona, officially designated the Ferrari 365 GTB/4, is a two-seat grand tourer by Ferrari from 1968 to 1973. It was introduced at the Paris Auto Salon in 1968 to replace the 275 GTB/4, and featured the 275’s Colombo V12 bored out to 4,390 cc (4.4 L; 267.9 cu in). It was offered in berlinetta and spyder forms. The Daytona was succeeded by the mid-engined 365 GT4 Berlinetta Boxer in 1973.

– removed lower body textures and not required files from teams
– added new body shadow texture (better anti-aliasing)
– created tech spec infos for showroom
– added new engine sounds by Wolferl from Historic GT & TC Mod for rFactor *

* the original sounds by deep-strike are still included (F365_GTB4.aud)

Note :

I have adapted the mod so that it can be driven with or without the GTL-GTR2 Mod by scca1981.

The car should also work with the Power & Glory Mod – but you may need to add the car / teams to the appropriate class in the .GDB file(s).

The Ferrari 365 GTB-4 is currently assigned to the following classes : GTLX and GTC-TC-76
You can find the class at the bottom of the .CAR files, line “Classes=”

(I couldn’t test this because I don’t currently have the P&G mod installed)

Deinstall / Installation Instructions :

If you already have installed a previous version of this mod, DELETE IT FIRST, as i have renamed many files.

extract the .rar file with WinRAR or similar unpacker and copy-paste the GameData folder to your GTR2 main directory – allow to overwrite all existing folders / files with “YES ALL” – done.

Note :

this mod contains the original “STEX_GTL.gtr” file from the GTL-GTR2 Mod by scca1981.
If you already have installed the GTL-GTR2 Mod, you can just allow it to be overwritten.

if you use a modified STEX_GTL, make a backup before or replace it.
